V12 At A Glance

Designed for the most critical concert and theater applica-

tions, V12 demonstrates a rare synthesis of superior audio

performance, exceptional configuration flexibility, and

ingenious functional utility. Important V12 features include

the following:

• Dual mode facility for reconfiguration as monitor console

- Control block swap moves Aux buses and all associated

controls to Group fader block.

- Up to 16 mono plus 1 stereo (or 8 mono plus 5 stereo)

fully discrete mixes.

- Additional mono and stereo mixes: Up to 28 mixes can

be generated when using a combination of discrete and

submixes of individual inputs, groups, matrices, and/or

main output buses.

• Frame sizes to accommodate 28, 36, 44, and 52 input

modules.

• Four full-featured stereo modules standard on all configura-

tions. Additional stereo modules may be ordered in place of

any mono input module.

• A total of 48 primary outputs to satisfy even the most

demanding requirements for multiple primary and

secondary mixes.

• Fully parametric four-band EQ plus continuously variable,

18dB/octave high pass filter on all input modules.

• 12 VCA Groups for level and mute control.

• 16 Mono Aux buses, reconfigurable as 4 stereo plus

8 mono buses.

• True LCR panning on mono modules.

• 8 Manual mute groups.

• 8 Discrete Audio Groups plus L/R Stereo and

Center/Mono buses.

• MIDI-based microprocessor control by JL Cooper

- Up to 1000 scenes, 128 mutes, and 128 MIDI program

changes, plus 99 F keys.

- Command of external MIDI devices, including Crest’s

NexSys Computer Control System.

- MIDI controller on motorized fader.

- Two 20x2 alphanumeric displays.

- MIDI link to external computer or sequencer.

• 5 mechanical meters show Left, Right and Mono (Center)

output levels along with Solo L & R. In addition, two banks

of 8 meters each are selectable for viewing Group, Aux and

Matrix levels. All meters feature long-life solid state (LED)

illumination.

• Side car expanders feature basic master functions along

with 4 additional VCA controls to allow use as astand alone

console. Both 24 and 32 input versions available.

• Three main consoles and two SideCars may be linked for up

to 220 mono or stereo inputs operating as a single console.

• 12 x 8 mono plus 4 stereo Matrix section.
